Both amounts are combined in a single payment that will be deposited into the beneficiaries' bank accounts. The goal is to strengthen the commitment to long-term residency, and it also seeks to ease the impact of Alaska's high cost of living.
Not all citizens will be able to access this money; only those who have lived in Alaska throughout 2024 can receive the payment. In addition, they must show their intention to continue residing there. Applicants can't have spent more than 180 days outside the state.

When will the payment be deposited?

If the application is listed as "Eligible - Not Paid" on July 9, 2025, the deposit will be made on July 17. For those who reach that status before August 13, they will receive the money on August 21.
