Additional payments: SUNCAP and other benefits

In addition to SNAP payments, those who receive SUNCAP, a program for people who also receive SSI, have a different schedule for payment distribution. SUNCAP payments were made as follows:

  • From 00 to 33: payment made on June 1
  • From 34 to 66: payment made on June 2
  • From 67 to 99: payment made on June 3

If you're a SUNCAP beneficiary, the payment should already be available on your EBT card. SNAP and SUNCAP payments are fast, secure, and discreet.

Beneficiaries will receive their money through EBT debit cards, which can be used at any establishment that accepts this payment system. You can check your balance on the official website of the Florida Department of Social Services or by calling their customer service lines.

What is SNAP Florida and how does it work?

The Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) is a federal aid that makes it easier for people with limited income to access healthy food. In Florida's specific case, SNAP payments aren't made only at the beginning of the month, but are distributed throughout all of June.

The goal is to improve logistics and avoid crowds in markets. Thanks to this method, more than 3 million families can guarantee themselves adequate and accessible nutrition.

How to access the benefit?

To be part of the program, it's necessary to meet the requirements established by the USDA, which administers SNAP in the United States. Those with low income or disabilities can access the program, and it's possible to combine it with other state benefits, such as the SUNCAP program for those who receive SSI. Payments are made automatically at 12:00 a.m. on the assigned day, without beneficiaries having to complete any additional procedures.

An essential support for thousands of families

SNAP and SUNCAP payments aren't just numbers: they represent the opportunity for millions of families to access healthy and fresh food every day. Make sure to check the date corresponding to your case number and check your balance to know when you can use your funds. If you haven't received your payment yet, don't worry, it's already on its way.
