Atlético B Stuck at 0-0 After Tough Afternoon for Ejected Fernando Torres

The red-twhite team struggled just to get a point against a confronting Yeclano Deportivo that posed a challenge

Atlético de Madrid drew 0-0 at home against Yeclano Deportivo, the Murcia team came out with a lot of intensity, pressing in their opponent's half. The red-whites fell into the visitors' trap and, before 10 minutes, the referee of the match had already shown two yellow cards to Atlético de Madrid. Fernando Torres didn't remain silent about what he considered an unfair situation and ended up being disqualified at the speed of light. The atmosphere was getting heated.

The man from Fuenlabrada couldn't believe his ejection and, at the same time, that he wouldn't be able to train in his hometown Fuenlabrada, with a special stadium that bears his name. Such an ejection spurred on the red-whites, who went after Yeclano's goal box. Joaquín claimed a penalty where Víctor Olmedo arrived first.

Mestanza looked for the goal at 22 minutes without much luck, and three minutes later it was Ale García who looked for the left post, finding a great save from Martínez .

The second half began without any substitutions and with the Madrid team attacking the Murcians more. Leo Franco was in charge of giving orders to Torres's team, in the absence of the Fuenlabrada player who was ejected during the first half.

Mollejo was substituted and Serrano didn't play

Mollejo created a great opportunity by entering the Yeclano area, but his shot was blocked by the Murcia centre-back. Kostis had to rush in to cut off a great advance by Víctor Olmedo, who handled red-whites how he wanted and when he wanted.

The Argentine shook up the bench in the 60th minute, by sending Omar Janneh, Julio Díaz and Rayane Belaid, replacing Víctor Mollejo, Pablo Pérez and Alejandro Mestanza. Three of the standouts of the colchonero team. Then Diallo came in for Joaquín.

Julio Díaz claimed a penalty

Leo Franco's bench exploded in a play by Julio Díaz, who reached the goal line but was clearly brought down by the full-back. The referee from Cádiz, José Antonio Gutiérrez Palomares, ruled out awarding a penalty. The colchoneros tried to win by any means, but the Murcians resisted.

The Andalusian referree also failed to signal a clear foul on Rayane Belaid in the box, sparking criticism from the Colchoneros. Swearing and complaints could be heard; the game ended on the edge of the box and the red-whites added their third game at home without winning.
