The Spanish forward arrived this summer at AC Milan from Atlético de Madrid, but his time there has been brief. He hasn't fully adapted to what the coach was asking for, and this January he sought a way out to get more playing time. That's when Galatasaray, his current club, appeared, where he aims to be important and win titles.

Words to Atlético de Madrid

Despite always being highly debated among Atlético de Madrid fans, Morata holds great memories of the red-and-white club. The Spanish forward was asked about the clubs he has played for and he replied the following about Atleti. "I stick with the fans, the roots, the history, and the way they feel and live life. I will teach my children Atleti's philosophy as a way of life."

Morata has always been very grateful to Atlético de Madrid for the years he played there. Additionally, he has mentioned on several occasions being a fan of the club since he was a child.

"My Grandfather Took Me to the Calderón"

The last question of the interview was very clear, he had to choose a club from all those he had played for. Morata didn't hesitate for a second in his response. "If people in a company were offered more money elsewhere, they would leave because not everyone can judge it. I started playing at Atlético, and my father and grandfather took me to the Calderón, and no matter how many contracts you have, that doesn't change."

"I'm an Atlético fan, and I'll be happy if Koke wins a Champions before he retires, if Cholo wins it, if my teammates and friends have it. Someday they will, and I trust it will be this year." With these words, the Spanish forward ended the interview.
