Marcelo's Tease to David Broncano on 'la Resistencia' With Atlético De Madrid

The former Real Madrid player remembered Atlético de Madrid

Marcelo Vieira, a true legend of Real Madrid, has once again demonstrated his charisma off the field. In his recent visit to 'La Revuelta,' the show hosted by David Broncano on RTVE, the former Real Madrid footballer starred in a moment of humor and "teasing" with the host. A Broncano who, it should be remembered, is a big fan of Atlético de Madrid.

Marcelo's Poisoned Gift to Broncano

The former Brazilian full-back, who hung up his boots a month ago after a career full of titles, arrived on set with a special surprise for Broncano. He brought him the jersey with which Real Madrid won the 2016 Champions League final against Atlético de Madrid in Milan.

Upon receiving it, the comedian reacted with disbelief: "Let's see, one moment. I have no problem with a Real Madrid jersey. Besides, I'm a respectful fan; I'm not very extreme. But the jersey from the Champions final against Atleti is really ugly..." he commented with humor.

Far from easing the situation, Marcelo continued with the teasing: "I was unsure whether to bring the one from the 'Décima' or this one, and I chose the one from the 'Undécima.' Since you always speak well of Atleti and I want you to speak well of Madrid, when you talk about Atlético, you'll see this jersey and be more at ease."

Marcelo's Confession About Sergio Ramos's Goal and His Respect for Atlético de Madrid

The conversation didn't stop there. Marcelo recalled Ramos's goal in the 2014 Lisbon final, a goal that changed the course of the match and marked one of the most painful moments for Atlético.

"I was on the field and saw Sergio's goal in slow motion. I stayed back during corners, and at that moment, it was a double joy because I saw many people from Atlético's bench opening champagne and 'Champions' jerseys. It was a motivation," confessed the Brazilian.

Despite the jokes, Marcelo showed his respect for Atlético de Madrid and Diego Simeone's work. "I have a lot of respect for Atleti. It's a team that's always fighting, and I have a lot of respect for all the players and Simeone," concluded the former footballer.
