During July, thousands of consumers purchased a product that now concerns authorities. These are freeze-dried fruits sold under the Member's Mark brand, which have been withdrawn from the market due to a health risk.
The news has caused concern among Sam's Club shoppers, the chain where this potentially contaminated food was distributed. The source of the problem has been confirmed by the United States Food and Drug Administration (FDA).

Listeria risk puts consumers on alert
The alert was issued after possible contamination with Listeria monocytogenes was detected. The product was manufactured by Doehler Dry Ingredient Solutions, LLC and was sold between July 1 and July 25, 2025. The recall affects multiple states, including California, Florida, New York, Texas, Illinois, and even Puerto Rico.
The distribution was widespread, which increases the urgency of the message. The recalled packages are boxes of 15 units of Member's Mark freeze-dried fruit assortment. To confirm if you have one of these batches, you should check the postal code 1 93968 50900 2.

In addition, the affected batch codes range from 25175 to 25206. The affected expiration dates are between June 24 and July 25, 2027.
What to do if you bought this product at Sam's Club
The recommendation is clear: do not consume the product. If it is at home, it should be discarded or returned to any Sam's Club store for a full refund. So far, no cases of illness associated with consumption of the product have been reported.
However, symptoms from Listeria can take up to two weeks to appear. Among the most common signs are fever, vomiting, diarrhea, and neck stiffness. In vulnerable people, such as pregnant women, the elderly, or immunocompromised individuals, the infection can be severe or fatal.
For those who have questions, the manufacturer has set up a customer service hotline. It is available Monday through Friday, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. (Eastern Time), at 770-387-0451. Meanwhile, the FDA has published an image of the product on its website to make identification easier, which helps users visually verify if they have an affected box.
