The filming of The Devil Wears Prada 2 is already underway and the anticipation couldn't be higher. Meryl Streep and Anne Hathaway have been seen on set reprising their iconic roles. However, many were wondering about the return of Nigel, played by Stanley Tucci.
The question has been answered: Tucci will also return to Runway and it will be soon. Meanwhile, the actor surprised his followers with a video on TikTok. In it, he confesses that he took a break from packing for the shoot and made himself a quick lunch.

A simple dish that bears Stanley Tucci's signature
Along with the post, he wrote: "Does anyone else cook to procrastinate?" A phrase that surely caught the attention of many home cooking enthusiasts. If we have to wait months to see the sequel in theaters, at least we have a Tucci-approved recipe to make the wait more enjoyable.
The dish combines some of his favorite ingredients, such as beans and tuna. It's not the Tuscan salad he shared last summer: this time he fuses that light base with his famous spaghetti with tuna.
In his book What I Ate in a Year (and Related Reflections), Tucci describes this pasta with tomato sauce, tuna, onion, and basil. This time he replaced the pasta with cannellini white beans (frijoles blancos), a change that makes the dish a quicker and more filling option.

The sauce, made with tuna, onion, garlic, basil, salt, and pepper, is served over the beans. As a final touch, he adds "twice-baked" bread, which softens when mixed in. A detail that, according to him, provides unique texture and flavor.
Ready in just a few minutes and suitable for every day
Although Tucci didn't share exact measurements, it's easy to recreate the recipe by eye. You only need one onion, three cloves of garlic, one can of tuna, tomato sauce, one can of cannellini beans, basil, salt, pepper, and crusty bread. Everything is mixed in a pan and served hot.
The actor assures that the result is "delicious and hearty." Even in summer, the dish works thanks to its balance of protein and flavor. The rainy weather in England, where he filmed the video, probably made it taste even better.
The best part is that it doesn't take more than 10 minutes, especially if you use ready-made tomato sauce. It's ideal for a gray day, but so practical that it fits into any weekly lunch. A simple recipe that shows that eating well doesn't always mean spending long hours in the kitchen.
