Rubén Uría's Response to the Latest Complaints from Madridists: 'There Are Too Many...'

The words of the famous journalist about the complaints after the classic

The Madrid classic between Atlético de Madrid and Real Madrid continues to generate many reactions, and one of the most talked-about figures is Rubén Uría. The journalist has spoken out about the main controversies of the match, making his point of view clear regarding the criticisms that have arisen after the tribute to Marcelo.

During his appearance on ElDesmarque's Twitch channel, Rubén Uría analyzed the refereeing of the match and was blunt in his reply to the complaints from Madrid fans. According to the journalist, there was no harm against Real Madrid, but there was a clear action in which Atlético de Madrid was disadvantaged. He also criticized the noise caused around Diego Simeone and the act of recognition for Marcelo.

Rubén Uría and the Controversial Plays of the classic

One of the most discussed points after the match were the decisions of referee Soto Grado, especially in two key plays. One was the penalty awarded in favor of Atlético and the non-expulsion of Dani Ceballos in the first half.

For Rubén Uría, there is no debate about the penalty: "The VAR tells him to go see it, and it's a very clear penalty." In fact, the journalist compared the action to another penalty called against Vinícius in matchday 5 against Real Sociedad: "I invite anyone to watch it. It's exactly the same," he noted.

However, where he did show his disagreement was in the decision not to expel Dani Ceballos after a harsh tackle. "Real Madrid should have been left with ten players, but the referee considered it was too early for them to be a player down," he explained. For Uría, this action was a clear mistake that affected Atlético de Madrid: "The referee didn't harm Real Madrid, only Atlético for a red card that wasn't shown."

The Controversy with Simeone and the Tribute to Marcelo

Another episode that caused controversy was the tribute to Marcelo, where it was criticized that Atlético de Madrid players didn't applaud the Brazilian. However, the images show that Simeone did, something Rubén Uría highlighted emphatically.

"There are a lot of loose police," the journalist commented, referring to those who constantly seek controversies where there are none. "They show the image of the jacket, but they don't say anything about his recognition of Marcelo," he added.
