Atlético de Madrid hasn't made any moves in this winter transfer market. The rojiblancos haven't found what they were looking for and didn't want to bring someone just for the sake of it. However, things in the summer will be completely different, both in departures and arrivals.

From the rojiblanco club, they are already working on several possible signings and Rubén Uría, a famous journalist, has revealed a name. On his Twitch channel, he talked about the players that interest Atlético de Madrid and put the name of Javi Guerra on the table.
Atlético de Madrid's interest in Javi Guerra
Javi Guerra has been on Atlético de Madrid's radar since last summer, when the rojiblanco club attempted to sign him. However, Valencia's high financial demands prevented the negotiations from reaching a successful conclusion. Despite this, Atlético's interest hasn't disappeared, and according to Rubén Uría, the club has reestablished contact with the player's entourage.
Atlético de Madrid isn't the only team that wants Guerra. It has emerged that Porto has also shown interest in the midfielder, creating fierce competition for his signing. Nonetheless, Atlético de Madrid, which continues to seek to strengthen its midfield, considers Guerra as one of the most attractive options to reinforce its squad.
Valencia remains firm
Despite the interest from Atlético de Madrid and other clubs like Porto, Valencia has no intention of selling Guerra in this winter market. The Valencian club renewed the midfielder in 2023 and secured him with a release clause of 100 million euros, making any short-term exit attempt difficult. Moreover, Guerra has established himself as an undisputed starter in the team led by Carlos Corberán.

With the summer transfer market just around the corner, Javi Guerra's future remains uncertain. Atlético de Madrid is willing to attempt his signing again, but it will have to face competition from other teams. However, Atlético de Madrid's interest remains very strong, and the next transfer window could mark an important chapter in the midfielder's career.
