Shame in the RFEF: Louzán's revelation about Florentino Pérez that outrages

The new president of the organization has spoken about a conversation with Real Madrid's president

The situation in Spanish football is becoming increasingly worrying, especially due to the preferential treatment that the country's two major clubs are receiving. After Rubiales's departure, the chosen one to take the position of president at the RFEF has been Rafael Louzán, who has no problem acknowledging his support for Real Madrid. In fact, he inaugurated his new position with statements that didn't sit well with most fans in Spain.

However, he now wanted to go a step further and in an exclusive interview with El Chiringuito de Jugones, he revealed a personal conversation with Florentino Pérez. The topic that the president of Real Madrid discussed with Louzán was nothing less than the refereeing aspect and his complaints about the level. The entire statement has been revealed by Rafael Louzán himself, generating many comments on social media and widespread indignation.

Florentino Pérez's request

So far, every time the new president of the RFEF has spoken publicly, it has been to generate greater controversy. In his latest statements, he claimed that the president of Real Madrid wanted to talk to him as soon as he took over Rubiales's position. "You have to fix this refereeing situation that is hurting us, we've lost many titles because of the referees," the top representative of the white team told him in private.

This is how Rafael Louzán explained it, who also said that Florentino Pérez was willing to bring referees from England to use in Spanish football. Obviously, he made it clear that he is very insistent on the refereeing issue, although he didn't hesitate to explain that he has a good relationship with him. Far from protecting his referees, Louzán asked him to start from scratch and try to get along in this new stage at the RFEF, something that is very concerning.

Defense of Real Madrid and Barça

As soon as he was appointed president, the first thing he did was explain that the two major clubs of Spanish football must be taken care of, as they are international brands. It should be remembered that the RFEF earns more money from the Spanish Super Cup if both clubs qualify to play it in Saudi Arabia. There is no doubt that this generates a lot of anger among fans, as there is an economic component that affects the sporting field.

Fans can't be blamed, as it is easy to think that it is more difficult for a referee to make a mistake against Real Madrid and Barça than with smaller teams. What is clear is that this stage in Spanish football hasn't started off on the right foot and doesn't seem to improve on what was seen before. Surely there will be new statements that will generate another firestorm, while the rest of the teams try to fight with their resources.
